So, I’ve decided to open a Lulu account, so I can sell comic prints and posters and such – and I thought it’d be really cool to start it all off with a CNZ poster.
I’ve got several ideas running around in my head, so I did some rough sketches to see which one works better. I might still have another couple before I make my mind, but I’m willing to listen to people’s opinions (you’ll be the ones buying them, after all).

So, whaddya think? Which one works better (if they work at all)?

The one on the right. It kinda looks like the first page of a comic book, where you’re started off in the middle of some action you can’t explain, with a bright snazzy title and the credits bar on the bottom.

definitly the second one with him jumping down.
It puts the characters in the foreground instead of the building.
I also kinda like the second one better …. it has … more action, more movement
Depends. If there is going to be text, the first (with text in front of the building). If not, definitely the second. I look forward to seeing an expression of suitable panic on the visible part of the ninja’s face.
The first one looks more like a poster, while the second one is more like a comic panel.
#1.
Not only do I agree with Nazz’ statement, but considering it is supposed to be a CNZ-poster, I say #1 is the way to go. #2 puts the gray ninja of butterknives (it IS him, right?) more on the forefront, making the whole thing look more like a battle-scene between to (semi-) equal combatants, and less like a portrayal of CNZ.
#1 captures the awesomeness of CNZ a lot better, I say.
(although you could perhaps ‘aim a bit higher’, showing more wing and less building..)
They’re both interesting designs, but #2 looks somewhat better.
The first one is sort of Batman-esque. Nice. Don’t know which one I’d favor though.
The second one is my fav! looks like more action and I would be estatic to frame it and plop it on my wall! I’m glad you went with the LULU account as well! Now how about that wicked CNZ Vinyl figure?
I definitely like the second one. And by the way, I’d die to see a one-panel comic of the CNZ stomping the Gothshake’s face like in a slow-mo action where the face (with the “eep” look he had in his “last” panel) gets deformed by the stomp ^^
I think I agree that in its current state, the second one is better. The first design is just too… bulding-y. If the first one had a little more of CNZ (perhaps with a full, extended wingspan,) the first one seems to have a cool vibe to it, but I think it needs some adjusting.
ooh, I’d love to have both, but I’m living in a shipment service-forsaken, crummy little country in middle Europe which means shipping would cost me twice as much as the actual poster, and I’d have to wait two months IF I was to get it at all (and no, I’m not just a whiny spoiled brat. Polish public post service truly is a joke).
but yeah, the first one is a lot more postery (posterish? poster-like) and I agree with Stonar – it could use more CNZ, less building (altough you do draw awesome buildings). The angle is great, has a sort of epic feel to it.
Eerr… O, your About page still uses the WordPress default text
I suggest you change it
I’d skew the second one somehow, so that CNZ became more prominent. Not sure how, maybe a more radical perspective.

Hello! totally the second one because of the composition… but I dont know if I like that the smaller guy is running away. might be cooler to have him jumping from up above at the other guy. but i dont know… you could make it work either way!
Anyway, really great work. I love it even in its early stages. it inspires me to work on my own some more =)
